Egypt crowned champion of African Handball Cup of Nat's


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) CAIRO Jan 30 (KUNA) -- Egypt's team was crowned champion of African Handball Cup of Nations for the sixth time after beating long-time rivals Tunisia 21-19 in the final late Saturday in Cairo International Stadium.By this win Egypt qualified for the Olympics in Rio De Janeiro Brazil in 2016.Egypt Tunisia and Angola have qualified for the 2017 Men's World Handball Championship to be hosted by France next year.The Pharaohs as they always called have won the African title in 1991 1992 2000 2004 and 2008 while the title went to Tunisia seven times.
