(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman Jan. 29 (Petra) -- His Majesty King's Advisor for Military Affairs and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mashal Mohammad Al Zabin arrived back home on Friday following an official visit to Russia during which he held talks with Russian Defense Minister General Sergey Shoygu on bilateral ties and ways to bolster them.
During the meeting Zabin highlighted the role played by Jordan to achieve security and stability in the region as well as the burdens being borne by the Kingdom as a result of the regional turmoil.
The Jordan Armed Forces the Arab Army have exerted huge efforts to maintain the security and stability of Jordan and its borders Al Zabin said.
Meanwhile the top Russian military official praised the role played by Jordan at the regional level.
