UAE- Installation of new radars at Al Wagan Trucks roads in Al Ain

ABU DHABI 28th January 2016 (WAM)--The Traffic and Patrols Directorate at Abu Dhabi Police has installed 25 new radars on Razeen Al Wagan and Trucks roads in Al Ain city.

This measure is part of a comprehensive plan to improve the traffic safety reduce excessive speed and step up control on the roads.

Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Badr Ahmed Al Harethi Director of the Traffic Engineering and Road Safety Section at the Directorate said the limit speed on the Razeen Al Waqan road is 120km/h and 81km/h on the trucks road.

He said the installation of the radars "is to improve the traffic safety and increase compliance to the mandatory speed limits on the roads."
