(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Khartoum January 27 (QNA) - Sudanese Vice President Hassabo Mohammed Abdel Rahman praised significant role played by the State of Qatar in achieving peace and stability in Darfur region.

This came in his speech Wednesday evening during the inauguration of a number of projects that observed by Sheikh Thani Bin Abdullah Foundation for Humanitarian Services (RAF) and a number of Sudanese institutions in the presence of HE Qatar's Ambassador to Sudan Rashid bin Abdul Rahman Al Nuaimi along with a number of Sudanese officials.

He lauded role of the Qatari leadership and charitable organizations in realizing peace and stability in Darfur region via projects implemented by the Qatari charitable foundations .

He also praised the partnership between the University of Khartoum Sudan Assistive Technology Center (MADA) Federal Ministry of Health North Darfur State and RAF saying it will bring many great benefits and reflected positively on the peace process in Darfur region.(QNA)
