Japan's JGC, Bahrain sign USD355m agreement


(MENAFN) JGC Corporation, the Japanese global engineering company inked a USD355 million contract with Bahrain's Banagas to construct the expansion of a gas plant in the state.

Additionally, it's projected that the facility will house 350 million cubic feet of additional associated gas from the Bahrain oilfield, and work on it will span over a period of 32 months.

JGC Corp with its core business of engineering-based services reaffirms its policy of pursuing the top standards of performance and achieving enduring growth as a globally-active company.

Moreover, Banagas is a large natural gas company in Riffa, Bahrain which operates a gas liquefaction plant, with nearly 94pct of its total workforce from Bahrain nationals.
