Israel approves 10 million to help secure Jewish settlements


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Ramallah Jan. 27 (Petra)-- The Israeli Knesset's Finance Committee late Tuesday approved an additional 33 million shekel (about $10 million) to 2015 budget to help secure illegal Jewish settlements in occupied East Jerusalem.

Israel's TV Channel 7 reported that 2016 budget was planned to be reduced but the "Jewish Home" party led by extremist Naftali Bennett asked to rise the budget from 50 million to 83 million shekel which was approved by committee immediately.
