Kuwaiti Oil Price Falls 86 cents to USD 21.78 pb


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) The price of Kuwaiti oil was down 86 cents to USD 21.78 per barrel Tuesday in contrast to USD 22.64 pb Monday, said Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) Wednesday, according to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).

In the global market, the price of oil went up by 4 percent with expectations that OPEC producers and their counterparts from outside the organization will reach an agreement on the decrease of production due to the unprecedented surplus in supplies, KUNA added.

The price of the Brent mix went up yesterday by USD 1.30 to reach USD 31.80 pb which was the same case with the American crude which went up by USD 1.11 to reach USD 31.45 pb, KUNA said.
