Qatar- OIC strongly Condemns suicide Attack on Cameroonian Town of Bodo


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Jeddah January 26 (QNA) -The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has strongly condemned the suicide attack committed by elements of the Boko Haram militants on the town of Bodo in northern Cameroon on 25/01/2016 which claimed the lives of 32 people and injured 84 others.
The OIC Secretary General Iyad Ameen Madani expressed his sincere sympathy with the Government of Cameroon and his condolences to the families of the victims of this horrible incident wishing speedy recovery to the wounded and expressing his solidarity with the Government of Cameroon in its fight against terrorism.
Madani reiterated the OIC’s principled position against all forms of terrorism and extremism which stand as a major threat to all Member States and to international peace and security. He called for the activation of the Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF) established by Member States from the region to counter Boko Haram’s terrorist attacks.(QNA)
