Sudanese gov't lifts monopoly on three oil products

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KHARTOUM Jan 26 (KUNA) -- The Sudanese government announced on Tuesday a lifting of monopoly on three oil products; cooking gas jet fuel and fuel.In a statement Sudan's Finance Minister Bader Ad-deen Mahmoud attributed this move to the slide in oil prices in the global markets.Sudan has recently suffered from a rarity of cooking gas so the government had to issue a decision to raise price on Monday.The main aim of ending monopoly is to secure needs of consumers and productive sectors.Chairman of the Federation of Sudanese Employers Saud Al-Berair described the move as "positive."
