OIC condemnation of Iran's interference in Arab affairs hailed
(MENAFN- Arab News) RIYADH: The Cabinet has welcomed the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Foreign Ministers Council's condemnation of Iran for the recent attacks on Saudi Arabia's diplomatic missions in Tehran and Mashhad.
At a weekly meeting chaired by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman at Yamamah Palace on Monday the ministers also welcomed the resolution at the OIC meeting last week which rejected Iran's 'interference in Bahrain Yemen Syria Somalia and its continuing support for terrorism' according to a report carried by SPA.
King Salman briefed the Cabinet on the outcome of his meetings with Chinese President Xi Jinping Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif US Secretary of State John Kerry and the parliamentary delegation of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization.
The ministers lauded the positive outcome of the visit by Xi which saw 14 deals and memorandums of understanding signed in various fields.
The Cabinet welcomed the statements of both the king and Xi calling for further initiatives to bring peace to the region fight terrorism and for adherence to international law and conventions on respecting the sovereignty of countries.
