(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) HE Minister of Youth and Sports Salah bin Ghanem Al Ali met Monday with officials of sports club in the country to discuss law no. 1 for 2016 regulating the work of sports clubs.
HE the Minister expressed at the beginning of the meeting his thanks to HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani for issuing the new law. His Excellency said that the work of the ministry is always based on the directives of HH the Emir.
HE the Minister said that sports clubs are the cornerstone of any sports activity in the country. As a result, the new law accounted for the independence of sports club in its events and finances, HE the Minister added.
In concluded his remarks, HE the Minister expressed his hope that sports club contribute to the Ministry's vision for the country's youth and sports.
