Qatar Shares Close Lower 1.48%


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index slipped back into the red zone when the bourse closed trading Monday at 8,848.86 points, down 132.75 points or -1.48%.

The daily turnover today decreased to QR 237.80 Million with a volume of 6,804,667 shares from 3,810 deals compared with QR 277.40 Million with a volume of 10,286,679 shares from 4,986 deals on Sunday.

From the 43 companies listed on QSE, shares of 40 saw trading today. From these 32 declined, seven gained, and one remained unchanged.
All indices ended in the red today, with insurance sector index dropping the most at -4.01%.

QSE Total Return Index dropped -1.48% to 13,754.28 points. QSE Al Rayan Islamic Index dropped -1.87% to 3,149.55 points and QSE All Share Index dropped -1.52% to 2,352.21 points.
