Economy, Commerce Minister Meets Australian Minister
(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) HE Minister of Economy and Commerce Sheikh Ahmed bin Jassim bin Mohamed Al-Thani on Monday met Richard Colbeck, Australian minister for tourism and international education and minister assisting the minister for trade and investment, and the delegation accompanying him.
The meeting reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries in the economic, trade and investment areas, ways of boosting and promoting them and aspects of mutual cooperation between the two countries.
Trade exchange between Qatar and Australia amounted in 2014 to nearly QR 4.1 billion, with Qatari exports to Australia taking up about QR 2.2 billion and imports amounting to around QR 1.9 billion.
