Oryx Rotana Reports 94% Occupancy in Q4 2015


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Oryx Rotana achieved 94% room occupancy rate in the fourth quarter of 2015 compared to 91% in the same period of 2014.

The Qatari luxury business hotel witnessed an upward occupancy growth in guest rooms, suites as well as food and beverages outlets, the hotel's top executive said.

Attributing the high occupancy rates to increased visitors from the GCC and Europe, Oryx Rotana General Manager Mark Timbrell said, "Dramatic levels of demand has resulted in higher room occupancy. We attracted all segments of the market." The hotel is has new marketing plans to boost its presence locally and in the region through social networking sites, he added.
