Khawar Ali hammered 100 and then Fayyaz Butt claimed five for 38 as Enhance CT coasted to a 96-run win against Raha CT in an Oman Cricket Premier division match at Al Amerat on Friday.

Enhance posted 248 in 47 overs and Raha was bundled out for 152 in 36.5 overs.

Brief scores: Enhance CT 248 in 47 overs (Ali 100; Zeeshan Siddiqui 4-47) beat Raha 152 in 36.5 overs (Akmal Shahzad 58; Butt 5-38).

A division: New Media 190-7 in 30 overs (Abdul Aziz al Balushi 54; Bharath Barmeda 4-37) beat HJB 144 in 26.1 overs (Syed Mohammed 28; Imran Rizvi 3-18).

HCC secures Dragon Warriors Cup

Holiday Cricket Club (HCC) won the Dragon Warriors Winter Cup 2016 which was conducted by the Dragon Warriors cricket team at Wadi Adai recently.

In the final HCC defeated Miracle by eight wickets. A total of eight teams took part in the competition.

The teams that took part were HCC Miracle XI Masters XI Riders XI Dare Delmons PTI Challengers Al Khuwair Sports Club and Fair Trade.

Winter Cup to start on February 19

The eighth edition of the Winter Cup cricket competition organised by the Holiday Cricket Club will be played at the Al Maha recreation ground in Bausher from February 19-26. A total of 16 teams will take part in the competition.
