(MENAFN) Oman International Container Terminal (OICT) exposed its anticipated truck appointment system (TAS) at the Sohar Industrial Port Company.
Moreover, TAS will transform logistics industries and supply chains throughout Oman, which includes new roads and dedicated truck lanes.
Additionally, it will permit truck drivers to organize collection and delivery of cargo at the container terminal in advance of their arrival through mobile app.
The setup of the new system trails whole investments made by OICT in the spread of infrastructure of Sohar of over USD 184mn, which are part of its long-term vision.
