DOHA: A free medical camp for low-income workers will be held today at Aster Medical Centre in the Industrial area between 7am and 1pm. It is organised by Indian Community Benevolent Forum (ICBF) under the Indian embassy in association with Indian Doctors Club Qatar Aster Medical Centre and Well Care Pharmacy.

The camp will provide free consultation including orthopaedic dental dermatology specialised treatment hypertension and fasting blood sugar level chec-up with free medicines for around 450 industrial and private workers living in the area.

ICBF held pre-registration of workers and registration forms were also available at ICBF Helpdesk at the embassy and Aster. Spot registration will be done for any deserving patient.

A team of 12 doctors (GP and Specialists) paramedical staff and pharmacists from IDC and Aster will assist the camp approved by the Supreme Council of Health. The camp is supported by a group of enthusiastic ICBF members volunteering for the benevolent cause.

It will be inaugurated by Indian Ambassador Sanjiv Arora.The Peninsula
