UAE Chief of Staff visits Bahrain International Airshow

MANAMA 21st January 2016 (WAM) --- Lt. General Hamad Mohammed Thani Al Rumaithi Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the UAE today visited Bahrain International Airshow 2016 being held under the patronage of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain.

He toured the show and visited pavilions of a number of countries and exhibitors to examine the latest aviation technology and equipment.

The UAE military official expressed admiration of the show.

On the sidelines of the show Lt. General Al Rumaithi met with the Lt. General Diab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi Chief of Staff of the Bahrain Defence Force to discuss ways of bolstering defence cooperation and relations between the UAE and the Kingdom.

The pair also discussed other matters of mutual concern.
