Oman Cricket Premier division: Assarain pulls off successive wins

Naseem Khushi slammed 118 not out and Zeeshan Maqsood starred with a handy 69 as Assarain CT coasted to a 113-run victory against OCT Muscat A in an Oman Cricket Premier division match at Al Amerat recently.

The result marked two successive victories for Assarain as it crushed the same opponent by nine wickets on the previous day.

ISC Salalah holds badminton event

The Indian Social Club (ISC) Salalah recently started a jumbled double shuttle badminton tournament that is played at the Sultan Qaboos multipurpose hall.

The opening ceremony of the annual competition's 2016 edition was attended by Vinay Kumar joint general secretary of ISC Salalah and several other top officials and guests.
