UAE- ERC provides materials for Aden power plant

ABU DHABI 20th January 2016 (WAM) The Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) Authority has provided large quantities of fuel and other materials required for the operation of Aden power plant in Yemen in preparation for the summer season which witnesses shortage of power supply.
The initiative is part of the ERC's continuous efforts to assist in supplying essential materials for critical infrastructure facilities in Yemen including hospitals educational institutions shopping centres and residential areas.
Last year the ERC supplied power generators to support the power sector in Yemen which was severely damaged following the events there.
