Kuwait- KRCS allays burden on Syrian refugee children

BAR ELIAS (East Lebanon) Jan 20 (KUNA) -- The Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) is keen on alleviating the burden on Syrian children who have become refugees in Lebanon KRCS Chairman Hilal Al-Sayer said on Wednesday.
He made that statement to KUNA while attending a fun party for these children which KRCS organized for them at its playground in the town of Bar Elias in East Lebanon.
He stressed KRCS's care for the plight of these children living in refugee camps away from their home country.
Further he noted that KRCS was giving the children all educational aid possible so that their education would not be drastically disrupted due to their refugee status.
Yousef Boutros relief coordinator for Lebanese Red Cross expressed in a press statement today his country's gratitude to all the help Kuwait is giving to the Syrian refugees in Lebanon.
The KRCS has built three playgrounds for Syrian refugee children in different locations in Lebanon along with school houses where they would get education at the expense of KRCS. (end) mah.ajs
