(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index jumped back into the green zone Tuesday, gaining a substantial 469.68 points or +5.51% when the bourse closed trading at 8,986.50 points Tuesday.
The daily turnover today rose to QR 367.33 Million with a volume of 14,008,809 shares from 6,881 deals compared with QR 306.93 Million with a volume of 9,994,857 shares from 6,156 deals on Monday. From the 43 companies listed on QSE, shares of 41 saw trading today. From these 36 gained and five declined.
Indices of real estate (+8.15%), consumer goods (+5.94%), transport (+5.60%), and telecoms (+5.48%) made substantial gains today.. QSE Total Return Index gained +5.51% to 13,968.23 points. QSE Al Rayan Islamic Index gained +6.01% to 3,215.85 points and QSE All Share Index gained +5.08% to 2,384.85 points.
