Exclusive: Interview with Malawi Prophet Shepherd Bushiri

Bushiri establushed his ECG Church head quarters in Pretoria South Africa and branches across the African continent.

The man of God has recently attracted a number of followers following his self-proclaimed prophecy on miracle money where by some of his church members have claimed to have received money in their bank Accounts from anonymous people after being prayed.

Prophet Bushiri is claimed to be mightily used by God in prophetic healing and deliverance ministries. His ministry is also known as the ministry of the book of Acts because of the great undeniable signs and wonders which happen in the name of Jesus. His prophecies are accurate and precise.

Bushiri who was brought up in a Christian home. is a son of Huxley and Christina Bushiri. His birth was mysterious and there were so many issues surrounding his birth such that after he had been safely delivered his mother called him Shepherd acknowledging that the Lord is her Shepherd.

Come 26 February 2016 Bushiri will be celebrating his birthday and according to reports the man of God birthday will celebrated in a cruise ship in South Africa for a cost to be paid by Church Member.

Freelancer Journalist Ulemu Teputepu caught up with Major Prophet Shepherd Bushiri to explain about his birthday in an exclusive interview upon his arrival from Malawi where he went for a week long charity work he first talked about his visit to Malawi.

Ulemu: Tell us about your visit to Malawi?

Bushiri: I have just flown back into SA from Malawi where I was involved in a week long charity work making donations worth millions of Rands to the needy communities in that country. This was an exemplary demonstration of the teaching of our Lord Jesus Christ that we must care for the needy amongst us. The Malawi visit has also sent a signal to the world that as Christians we should at all times be proactively involved in our communities.

Ulemu: As part of social responsibility what are you doing in Malawi as far as giving back to the community is concerned?

Bushiri: In retrospect I have just stated that I was involved in millions of Rands worth of donations in Malawi. This also served as an act of giving back to the communities among whom I grew up and who supported my ministry during its formative stages with their modest means.

Ulemu: Reports say you have acquired 3 jets in a period of 2 years. How is it possible?

Bushiri: It is true that I have just acquired a most expensive state-of-the-art Gulfstream III VIP jet one among counted few VIP jets in Africa to help me with my ever expanding ministry outreach globally in this era of lightning-speed technology. For instance I have been able to fly to Malawi and back from a Ministry mission with minimum time spent on travel to allow for more time for ministry work.

The Bible tells us in Mark 10:27 that Jesus said 'With men it is impossible but with God all things are possible.' The God that I so faithfully serve makes all things possible for us as Christians.

Speculations that the purchase of the jet is from church offerings are without foundation and absolutely misconceived as had that been possible then all men of God would each be owning expensive Gulfstream jets. But we know that that is not the position. My jet acquisitions are as a result of grace and also hard work characterized by my business acumen. I am worth billions of US Dollars from my vast investments in the lucrative oil well mining gold mining financial institutions tourism industry among several other investments globally. So I do not finance the purchase of my jets from church offerings because that is simply impracticable.

The Bible says in Luke 19:13 that Jesus said that 'Do business till I come.' I encourage Christians to heed to this call and realize that this is your time to arise and work hard to secure decent livelihood. It is surprising how critics are elect not to attack leaders and followers of other faiths such as Islam and Hinduism who acquire superfluous wealth but chose to focus on Christians. It is unfortunate that even some Christians have joined the devil in attacking fellow Christians who legitimately acquire wealth. We witness Millions of dollars poured in sponsorship of soccer advertisement of harmful tobacco products etc but our critics make no mention of such. It is high time Christians learnt that we are not meant to be poor. Christians should heed the teaching in the Bible in 3 John 1:2 that 'Beloved I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health just as your soul prospers.'

Ulemu: A lot has been said about miracle moneyTell us the magic of it.

Bushiri: First and foremost there is no magic involved in the appearance of miracle money which is a common feature in many of my miracle services. I am a Major Prophet and not a magician so the issue of magic is out of question. Many members of my congregations have themselves testified upon their own free volition on Prophetic Channel Television live broadcast that miracle money has appeared in their respective possession. These are real miracles to glorify Christ as the Bible says. The Bible is replete with many instances when miracles were performed by Jesus and even the apostles. Is it not surprising that critics are not questioning those miracles yet the Bible says in John 14:12 that Jesus said 'Most assuredly I say to you he who believes in Me the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do because I go to My Father.'

Ulemu: How much did the jet cost and where did you buy it?

Bushiri: A Gulfstream III jet is one of most advanced state-of-the-art air machines and naturally cost me millions of US dollars. I purchased it through NAC of South Africa a reputable aviation management entity. However for strategic reasons I do not feel obliged to divulge the purchase price. I leave it to you to research for yourself the market value of a powerful air machine of this
class.

Ulemu: On your new acquisition of your new jetMalawi24 did publish a story that it is a liethey say the CEO for Gulfstream who was quoted as handing over the jet retired last year. Can you verify?

Bushiri: First and foremost you need to understand that I have no control over the modus operandi of Malawi24 and consequently what they publish is out of my control. I have read with dismay the verbiage and unsubstantiated untruth published about the jet by Malawi24 and other online publications. Most of those publications are characterized by malicious falsehood and inspired by character assassination which are entirely devoid of plausible justification.

The truth is that I have lawfully acquired with no regret an expensive Gulfstream III jet which I own and the same is duly registered under my name. A Certificate of registration was duly issued by South Africa Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA) in my favour and anyone is at liberty to peruse the SACCA register to establish that fact and truth.

The hand over of the jet was done by Mr. Martin Banner the CEO of NAC South Africa. Mr. Banner is not the CEO of Gulfstream and I wonder how the media missed that. The goof in mention of a retired CEO of Gulfstream is yet another unfortunate and inaccurate allegation by those online publications. Remember I have no control over what those media agents publish and therefore I cannot and should not be held accountable for their misreporting. That is yet another unfortunate product of mediocrity in journalism on the part of those media publications.

Ulemu:Tell us about your birthday. Reports says you will celebrate it in a cruise ship

Bushiri: My birthday has a very special significance in the spiritual realm as it signifies the birth of a Major Prophet of the most High living God. Its celebration is therefore also meant to be prophetic in all respects. And as to whether the celebration with other Christian believers is to be in a cruise ship all you need to note is the prophetic significance thereof.
