(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman Jan. 19 (Petra)--The weather over the next two days is expected to be cold and partly cloudy to cloudy with heavy rain in the northern regions accompanied with thunder and lightening hail is also forecast during early morning hours over the hilly areas with dusty conditions in the eastern and southern parts of the country.
According to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) winds will be northwesterly moderate with frost formation after midnight.
Temperatures expected in the capital and the northern regions for today will range between a high of 10 degrees Celsius and 6 degrees at night while mercury levels in the Gulf of Aqaba will hit 19 degrees dropping 12 degrees at night the JMD added.
