Oman- Bank Muscat ups Al Mazyona prize money to RO10mn

Bank Muscat has increased the prize money for its Al Mazyona Savings Scheme 2016 to RO10mn.

Reaching out with a powerful call for savings the prize money for the savings scheme has been increased to RO10mn compared to RO9mn in 2015 stated a press release.

After unveiling the new scheme H H Faris bin Fatiq al Said also picked the winners of the Al Mazyona year-end prize draw for 2015 offering RO1.5mn. The ceremony was attended by senior bank officials and mediapersons. Till now the Al Mazyona savings scheme offers the biggest prize money in Oman and the region.

The highlights of 2016 Al Mazyona savings scheme include aspirational prizes of RO1mn at the end of year and high value prizes for different segments including women children youth and high-saving customers. Adding excitement to festivals and national celebrations the 2016 savings scheme rewards customers with special prizes.

They can also win a bonus salary every month for transferring salary to the bank. The enhanced prize money will be shared by more winners as customers from all regions are guaranteed to win prizes ranging from RO1000 a week to RO10000 a month RO100000 every quarter and RO500000 at the end of year which is open to all customers.

Asalah Priority Banking customers have the chance to win RO50000 monthly prizes RO250000 quarterly prizes and a jackpot of RO500000 year-end prize. Prizes reserved for Al Jawhar Privilege Banking customers include RO25000 monthly prizes and RO50000 quarterly prizes. A special prize draw offering RO10000 each for winners will be held during the celebration of Eid al Adha in July.

On the occasion of National Day a special draw will be held offering RO10000 each for ten winners. Al Mazyona has reintroduced salary transfer prizes which is back on popular demand the release added. Thirty customers transferring a minimum monthly salary of RO500 are eligible to win an additional salary every month. Details of the savings scheme offering bigger prizes for more winners were unveiled in front of the media at the bank's head office.

'Winning with Al Mazyona has never been simpler as customers are not required to block their money for long or wait for a long time to win big prizes.'
