Saudi envoy to Iraq presents papers
(MENAFN- Arab News) JEDDAH: Iraqi President Fuad Masoom received Thamer Al-Sabhan Saudi ambassador to Iraq on Monday.
Al-Sabhan presented his credentials as the Saudi ambassador to the Iraqi president in Bagdhad.
Al-Sabhan conveyed greetings from Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman to the Iraqi president and the people of Iraq. He conveyed his good wishes for peace stability and prosperity for the Iraqi people.
He also conveyed greetings of Crown Prince Mohammad bin Naif and Deputy Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman as well as that of Foreign Minister Adel Al-Jubeir.
Masoom and Al-Sabhan discussed the future of relations between the two countries and ways of strengthening them in all areas.
Al-Sabhan conveyed to the Iraqi president the Kingdom's interest in its relations with Baghdad and its people as well as the unity safety and stability of Iraq.
He said that the Kingdom respects the sovereignty of Iraq and expects that the people of Iraq will join hands for the revival of their country and the return to its natural place through security stability prosperity and development.
