(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index dropped 657.37 points or -7.16% when the bourse closed trading at 8,527.75 points Sunday.
The daily turnover dropped to QR 374.016 Million with a volume of 12,306,493 shares from 5,186 deals compared with QR 388.512 Million with a volume of 8,985,438 shares from 4,859 deals on Thursday.
From the 43 companies listed on QSE, shares of 40 saw trading and all of them ended the day in the red.
Real estate and telecoms sector indices fell the most, down -9.94% and -9.32% respectively.
QSE Total Return Index dropped -7.16% to 13,255.17 points. QSE Al Rayan Islamic Index dropped -8.29% t0 3,061.39 points and QSE All Share Index dropped -6.84% to 2,281.36 points.
