(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Riyadh Rabi'II 07 1437 January 17 2016 SPA -- Yemeni minister of human rights Ezzeddin Al-Asbahi met in Riyadh today with the European Union ambassador to Yemen Bettina Machete.
The two sides discussed the situation in Yemen and the human rights file in view of the war operations being launched by Houthi militias and deposed president Saleh in a number of provinces.
Al-Asbahi called on the European Union and other international organizations to mount more pressure on Houthi militias and deposed president Saleh to implement the United Nations Security Council resolutions related to Yemen.
For her part the EU's ambassador confirmed the EU support for the security stability and unity of Yemen the implementation of UN Security Council resolutions and restoration of legitimacy to all Yemeni cities and provinces.
