Jordan- Relatively cold weather Sunday depression Monday


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman Jan.17 (Petra)-- A slight rise in temperatures is expected Sunday; but it will remain relatively cold in the hilly areas and warm in other parts of the country with low clouds and southeasterly moderate winds blowing dust in the Badia regions.

According to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) a tangible drop in temperatures is expected on Monday as the Kingdom will be affected by a cold wet air mass with strong gust and southwesterly winds . Therefore it will be relatively cold and cloudy with low visibility and light rain in most areas.

Temperatures in the capital for today will range between a high of 14 degrees Celsius and a low of 7 degrees at nightwhile mercury levels in the Gulf of Aqaba will hit 24 degrees dropping down to 13 degrees at night the JMD said.
