Oman's inflation rate shows marginal growth


(MENAFN) Oman's consumer price inflation logged a 0.33 percent increasing in Dec 2015, from the previous month, while rate inflation for last year grew 0.06 percent.

On a yearly basis, the Sultanate's inflation registered a decline of 0.14 percent in Dec 2015, according to the data by the National Center for Statistics and Information (NCIS).

However, the food and non-alcoholic beverages group viewed a price fall of 0.81 percent a year earlier in comparison with 2014.

On the other hand, the housing, electricity, water and fuels logged an increase of 0.43 percent, while the health segment posted a price rise of 3.42 percent in 2015.
