(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) For their part the two Saudi citizens expressed their thanks and gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud the Crown Prince and the Deputy Crown Prince for their care and interest in returning the two citizens safely to the homeland.

They expressed their overwhelming happiness for returning home and seeing their families and relatives noting the bad treatment they were subjected to.

For his part Saudi ambassador to Yemen Mohammed bin Saad Al Jaber stressed that since the first moment of the kidnapping of the two Saudi citizens by the Houthi militias the directives by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud were to search for them and check on their health and work to release them in various ways as the state apparatus with all its channels worked on taking them out until all efforts culminated in taking them out with the help of the United Nations envoy to Yemen Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed congratulating the leadership the families of al-Ghamdi and Sharari and all the Saudi people on their return home unharmed.

On negotiations mechanism with the Houthi militias UN envoy to Yemen Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed stressed that there were no special procedures except requesting their release for more than 6 months and taking preparations with follow-up by the Saudi Ambassador to Yemen as well as a number of the cause's supporting embassies. He said "When I arrived in Yemen one of the points raised was taking into account that their cause was a humanitarian issue as they are teachers and have nothing to do with politics."

For his part the Minister of Education Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Issa expressed his happiness for the arrival of the teachers in the homeland stressing the care of the Saudi leaders for the teachers' safety since the first day of their kidnapping until their release.
