Comoros Republic cuts off relations with Iran

(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Moroni Rabi'II 04 1437 January 14 2016 SPA -- The United Comoros Republic announced cutting its diplomatic relations with Iran.
The Ministry of External Relations and Cooperation in Charge of Diaspora Francophonie and Arab World said in a statement that due to Iran's non respect for Vienna Conventions organizing diplomatic and consular relations and its interference in the internal affairs of some Arab countries the Comorian government decided to cut off diplomatic relations with Iran and this decision is effective from the date of January 13 2016 and appropriate measures must be taken to implement it as soon as possible.
The United Comoros Republic has earlier expressed its solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its strong condemnation of attacks on the Saudi Embassy in Tehran and Consulate General in Mashhad.
