UAE- Abdullah bin Zayed condemns blast in Istanbul
ABU DHABI 14th January 2016 (WAM) -- H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foreign Minister has condemned the terrorist attack that took place in Istanbul's Sultanahmet district killing a number of civilians and wounding several others.
During a telephone conversation last night with Mawlood Jawish Davutoglu the Turkish Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah expressed the UAE's solidarity with Turkey saying that the UAE rejects terrorism in all its forms and manifestations whatever the motives and justifications stressing the country's keenness to intensify its efforts to combat these criminal acts.
Sheikh Abdullah during the call highlighted the need for intensified and concerted efforts of the international community to ensure the eradication of the scourge of terrorism and to find effective solutions to eradicate this phenomenon which is contrary to all moral and humanitarian values.
