Qatar- Foreign Minister Meets Prince Zeid bin Ra'ad
(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Doha January 13 (QNA) - HE Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Khalid bin Mohammad Al Attiyah met here today with Prince Zeid bin Ra'ad High Commissioner for Human Rights of the United Nations.
The meeting was held on the sidelines of the regional conference on UNHCHR's Role in The Promotion Of Human Rights in Arab Region which is organized by Qatar's National Human Rights Committee and the High Commissioner in cooperation with the Arab League and the Arab Network of National Human Rights Institutions at the Ritz Carlton Hotel.
During the meeting they discussed a number of topics of common interest especially ways of enhancing joint cooperation with the High Commissioner for Human Rights.
Deteriorating humanitarian situation in Syria was also discussed during the meeting.(QNA)
