SoC Solutions joined the movement as an inaugural member because we believe in the spirit of professional cooperation and collaboration that IPextreme is fostering with the Core Store ecosystem."

We are excited to be an inaugural member of this great initiative which represents a win-win for IP vendors and SoC suppliers. IP vendors get product exposure while SoC designers get to kick the tires on IP of interest before they chose to initiate contact with the IP vendor said Jim Lipman Director of Marketing at Sidense. This is a great shop window for our 1T-OTP products and provides a nice complement to IP listings on traditional IP catalog websites.

Introducing the Core Store: A New Kind of IP Marketplace

The Core Store represents a new paradigm for what we think of when we hear the term IP marketplace. A key precept of the Core Store is that it protects the privacy of those people searching for IP. By default all browsing and searching of the Core Store can be done anonymously without registration. Customers have the option of registering on the Core Store and receiving updates or news from the IP suppliers that market their products there.

A welcome kit for IP providers including a step-by-step guide on getting started can be downloaded from the Core Store at https://the-core-store.com/#membership.

Introduction to IP Fingerprinting and DNA Analysis: Protecting and Detecting IP

Fingerprinting is a novel approach for IP suppliers to protect their IP from accidental reuse by customers by creating a unique identity for that IP that can allow semiconductor customers to detect the presence of their IP in their SoC design with the use of DNA analysis technology. DNA analysis provides the semiconductor customer to scan their chip database and generate a report that lists all the detected IP the version of the IP and any modification of the IP that may have taken place after delivery from the IP supplier.

Pricing for Core Store Fingerprinting and DNA Analysis

IP suppliers can become members of the Core Store for no charge. The elective self-publishing news option is available at $1000 per year per Core Store member and includes an unlimited number of news items.

The fingerprinting app is free for IP suppliers and semiconductor users of IP alike and is available for free download from the Core Store at https://the-core-store.com/#fingerprint.

Unlimited DNA analysis is available at no extra charge for existing Xena Enterprise customers.

DNA analysis for non-Xena customers is available on the Core Store as a subscription service. Interested customers may request more information through the Core Store landing page.
