(MENAFN- Gulf Times) BMW Alfardan dumped Mannai, 72-55, in a lopsided game in the Inter-Car Division of the 19th Season Pinoy Basketball of Qatar tournament, presented by Alicafe, over the weekend at Al Gharafa Training Gym.
The dominance of Alfardan proved they are still a team to beat after their 17-point conquest over lowly Mannai as they started to pull away early in the second quarter with the triumvirate of Aries Fernandez, Julius Umali and Rosario Juanito leading the rally.
Alfardan remained composed all throughout the game by keeping a safe double digit lead and that was a big factor in their convincing win. By analytics, both teams were doing well and close enough in all the departments of the game, only that Alfardan fared better in converting the baskets.
In the other game, AAB Toyota came back into the winning column anew with their trouncing of KIA Motors, 65-54.
Toyota's Sahidjuan Hafes led his team with 21 big points, complemented by teammate Rowen Rosales with 14.
Nissan maintain their top post in the league with spotless three consecutive wins, while Mannai, who are still winless, are in a precarious situation and could be in the next round.
