Suicide Blast near Pakistan Consulate Leaves 2 Dead in Afghan Jalalabad


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Kabul January 13 (QNA) - The Pakistan consulate in the eastern Afghan city of Jalalabad was sealed off on Wednesday after a suicide bomber detonated himself killing at least two people and wounding two the provincial governor's spokesman Attaullah Khogyani said.

Attaullah Khogyani said that the bomber had tried to join a queue of people seeking visas to Pakistan and blew himself up after being prevented from entering the building according to Pakistan's (Geo News).

Afghan security forces were battling gunmen in a house near the Pakistani consulate police said adding that other attackers may still be in the vicinity. (QNA)
