S. Korea Fires Warning Shots at Suspected N. Korean Drone


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Seoul January 13 (QNA) - South Korea military fired Wednesday warning shots at a North Korean drone entered the demilitarised zone.

The drone returned to North Korea after at least 20 warning shots were fired according to (Yonhap) news agency.This came days after North Korea claimed that it tested a hydrogen bomb.

South Korean President Park Geun-hye however has considered North Korea's nuclear test as a grave provocation and serious threat to South Korea.Park on Wednesday urged China to help punish Pyongyang's recent nuclear test with the strongest possible international sanctions. (QNA)
