Saudi- Al Suaidi group to buy giant cranes worth up to SR30m
(MENAFN- Arab News) Al-Suaidi group signed a contract recently with Abahusain heavy transport contract company to buy giant cranes worth up to SR30 million.
Speaking to media Jassim bin Mohmmed Al-Suaidi chairman of Al-Suaidi group said that this deal has been struck in order to keep pace with market requirement and the expansion of the oil and gas sectors as well as electrical and other fields and to help meet the demand for cranes in the coming years.
Al-Suaidi pointed out that the reason for buying such cranes was to meet the customers' demand and renewing the fleet by injecting new cranes to go ahead in business and restructuring the old equipment.
Regarding the impact on the labor market Al-Suwaidi confirmed: "There isn't great impact however contracting companies follow specific measurements and requirements to ensure safety as well as the plans of customers projects."
He added: 'The cranes market in the Kingdom is promising and growing as we have approximately 4000 different types of cranes with different specialties' Al-Suwaidi said.
Al-Swaidi group is involved in training and qualifying the staff by providing information and safety courses which help employees to commit to safety during their work.
'We appreciate and thank the government agencies including civil defense for their effort in providing all kind of means to help companies and ensure their safety for all companies in the Eastern Province.' Al-Swaidi stated.
'The Al-Suwidi group is committed to the training of Saudi cadres in different fields including the operation and maintenance of such equipment. We are the only group in the field of cranes that has Saudi operators and technicians after Saudi Aramco. In addition Al-Suwaidi group is training Saudi cadres in all fields and we have more than 40 years of continuous successes in the Saudi labor market and the Gulf" he said.
