Saudi- Mass starvation
(MENAFN- Arab News) This is with reference to the article 'Starvation: Assad's new weapon' (Jan. 11) by Abdulrahman Al-Rashed. Assad's new tactic is condemnable and is enough to elicit strong international response against this dictator. Earlier he used chemical weapons against his own people but got away with it. This international inaction has only emboldened him that is why he is committing such crimes with impunity. Had the world taken appropriate action over his use of chemical weapons he would have never thought of such tactics to oppress people who are opposed to his rule. Hina Javed Jubail
