January 7 2016 - Barbara Bras is an Amazon Best Seller with the release of Wrapped in God’s Grace a Life Rediscovered.

Readers have taken to Barbara Bras a new author on the literary scene. Bras accesses an unusual style to relate her memoir which incorporates three distinct stories to reveal the intricacies of God’s plan. Bras’s first book offers encouragement to others struggling with unanswered prayer and life’s circumstances. Her immediate connection to her readers is evident by the significant following she has quickly developed.

The memoir opens as Bras shares the emotion of seven years of unanswered prayers for a child in her second marriage. A miraculous adoption occurs and unforeseen challenges confront her. She spends the next fifteen years struggling with trusting God in spite of difficult circumstances. As she comes to the realization that God’s plan for her life is always better than she could imagine she releases her will to his.

This reconciliation causes Bras to reexamine her life as she contemplates the miracle of her own existence. She recounts the amazing story of her grandfather Arshag born in Armenia in 1891.  Sent from Armenia to South America to escape the coming genocide young Arshag works his way to the U.S. only to immediately return to Armenia as a volunteer for the Armenian Legion sponsored by the French and British governments. Bras expertly juxtaposes his story with her grandmother’s who is taken from her home and forced to march in the desert ultimately arriving in a Turkish orphanage. God’s protection and direction allow Arshag to find Gulle after the end of World War 1 marry and immigrate to America.

Bras picks up her journey as the firstborn of their ten grandchildren. In a clear strong voice Bras relates the safe bubble of her early life and quickly moves to her emergence from a failed marriage as she returns to teach high school English in a small town. Bras frankly examines how running her life without God results in disaster until she surrenders to his will and divine intervention leads her to true love.

Now that her memoir is complete Bras has turned to fiction. She has two novels in development both scheduled for release next year. Her love of storytelling promises to keep readers engaged for years to come.
