Qatar- Kerry Lavrov Discuss Syrian Issue
(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Washington January 12 (QNA) - US Secretary of State John Kerry and his Russian Counterpart Sergei Lavrov discussed during a telephone conversation a number of issues including the Syrian issue.
On Monday the US State Department said in a statement that Kerry and Lavrov discussed the political process in Syria and the fight against ISIS group.
They also reviewed issues of the Middle East and Ukraine as well as the nuclear test of North Korea and bilateral relations.The statement added that the two sides agreed to stay in close contact and to find an opportunity to meet in the coming days. (QNA)
