Jordan- Temperatures to rise above average Wednesday- JMD


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman Jan.12 (Petra) --Relatively cold conditions are forecast Tuesday in the hilly areas and the Badia region while it will be relatively warm in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea.

According to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) chilly conditions are expected to prevail during the night with frost formation in the desert areas and in southern heights.

A slight rise in temperatures is forecast on Wednesday to become two degrees above their seasonal average the JMD said.

Mercury levels expected in the capital for today will range between a high of 14 degrees Celsius and a low of 5 degrees at night in the northern regions it will range between 7 to 14 degrees and in the Gulf of Aqaba it will hit 21 degrees Celsius dropping down to 11 at night.
