UAE wins Gold Medal in Bahrain 12th St Exhibition

ABU DHABI 12th January 2016 (WAM) -- Emirates Philatelic Association EPA has participated in the Bahrain 12th Stamp Exhibition held in Bahrain from 30th December 20157th January 2016.

Exhibitors from all over the GCC along with Mauritania and Tunis participated in the show.

EPA participants in the exhibition won a number of laurels for their entries. Thomas Johansen won the Gold medal for his collection of "Development of Postal Service in Bahrain 1884-1948" Ahmad bin Eisa Alserkal won Large Vermeil medal for his collection of "Abu Dhabi Stamps 1963-1973" Mr. Muhammad Javaid won Silver Bronze medal for his collection of "Bahrain Stamps".

Ali Abdulrahman Ahmad was National Commissioner from United Arab Emirates and EPA Vice President and Khalid Ali Al Omaira was invited to serve as Jury President of the exhibition.
