(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Washington Jan. 11 (Petra) -- His Majesty King Abdullah II on Monday met with U.S. Secretary of Defense Ashton Carter at the Pentagon and discussed with him cooperation between Jordan and the United States especially in military fields.
The meeting dealt with international efforts to fight terrorism namely the terrorist Daesh group. They stressed the importance of maintaining coordination and consultation between the various actors in the region and the world to combat terrorism within a holistic approach.
