UAE- Encouraging creativity among children

The Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation (MBRF) has launched the second phase of the writing category of the Dubai International Programme for Writing featuring a workshop led by Tunisian writer Wafa Mazghani.

The workshop which will be conducted over a six-month period will train 10 Emirati writers to improve their skills with a focus on writing for children.

"The Dubai International Program for Writing launched under the guidance of Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Chairman of the Foundation aims through - Writing and Writers Exchange - to produce a generation of youth talent. Our effort is to provide training to refine their literary capabilities with the help of experts from the Arab world" said MBRF Managing Director Jamal bin Huwaireb.

Mentor Wafa Mezghani a specialist in writing for children and a teacher at the Tunisian University is also a researcher on the culture of women and children.
