Jordan- Exports from free zones in December reach JD276 million


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman Jan. 11 (Petra)--Exports of goods and machinery from Jordanian free zones last December stood at JD276 million.

A statement by the Free Zones Corporation said that the value of commodities that were exported from free zones to foreign and local markets in December reached JD131 million JD85 million of which went to foreign markets and JD46 million to local markets.

"The value of the machineries that were exported to foreign and local markets in the same month stood at JD145 million including JD63 million to foreign markets and JD82 million to local markets" the statement added.

It further said that the number of machineries exported to local and foreign markets stood at 13721 including 5771 million to foreign markets.
