(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman Jan. 11 (Petra) -- A slight rise in temperatures is expected on Monday but it will be relatively cold in the hilly areas and warm in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea with partly cloudy skies and southeasterly moderate winds.
According to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) chilly and partly cloudy weather is forecast at night with a chance for scattered showers in the northern parts of the Kingdom. Freezing is also in the forecast after midnight in most regions.
Temperatures in Amman for today will range between a high of 14 degrees Celsius and a low of 5 degrees at night the JMD added.
