Syrian families there were given 300 parcels of detergents and bedclothes he said noting that the refugees are currently in dire need for such aid due to the hard winter conditions.

He re-affirmed Kuwait's keenness to help the refugees despite recurring rain and snow and the biting cold.

Over the weekend the team delivered food and other necessities to Syrian refugees in Iqlim Al-Kharroub a mountainous region located southeast of the Lebanese capital. They also provided similar materials along with sweets and toys to refugees and their children in Shebaa a town in southeastern Lebanon.

KRCS officials have vowed to do everything possible to help the refugees no matter how hard the weather conditions may be. Lebanon has been hit with a snow storm that has covered much of the mountainous region with some villages being isolated due to the drifting snow.
