(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman Jan.10 (Petra)-- Inspectors of the Labour Ministry had apprehended around 28341 illegal guest workers and closed 1635 workplaces violating Labour laws in 2015 a ministry source said on Sunday.
Director of Inspection Department Abdullah Jbour said the ministry recorded 4083 labour-related complaints 3523 of which were addressed .
Following more than 94136 inspection visits to institutions last year the ministry issued 13908 warnings and 14497 tickets to violating institutions according Jbour added.
He stressed that the ministry's inspection campaign is still ongoing calling on guest workers and employers to abide by the Labour Law.
